The starting point is the feasibility study / preliminary design, or a first hypothesis, perhaps accompanied by photorealistic rendering, which usually culminates with the drafting of a rough metric calculation that is used to estimate the costs of the works to be carried out.

At this stage it would be important to have already identified a possible executor of the work, perhaps an experienced general contractor who can offer his point of view to the executive and construction design in order to produce a very detailed specification with an extremely reliable amount of the work.
